How to Activate Windows 7

Let’s start with Windows 7.

It's very easy to find out whether you’re using a genuine Operating System or not in Windows 7. Just have a look at these steps.

Steps:

1. Press Windows key to access the start menu from your Desktop.
2. Locate the My Computer option.
3. Right click on it to open the context menu and then select Properties. (Alternatively you can go to My Computer from Desktop shortcuts and locate Properties button to get the same window.)
4. You will be redirected to the System Window. There you can get a few more details of your System such as Manufacturer, Computer Name, Processor and it’s clock Speed, Size of RAM etc,.
5. Put your eyes on right bottom of the window. If you're able to see image like given below you're running on a genuine Windows 7.

Isn't it look like simple?

Then try an another method. This procedure is suggested for all Windows Operating Systems (7, 8, 8.1, 10).

Use Windows + R shortcut to open Run dialog box. Then type cmd and press the Enter key to open the Command Prompt Window.

Then type the command as given below.

slmgr/xpr

And press the Enter key. Wait until you see the dialog box of Information of Windows product.

• If it shows that the windows is activated till a certain date which means your Windows is either activated via organizations bulk purchased product key or it has been activated using some kind of activation tool like KMSpico.

or type

slmgr.vbs /dli

You will have remaining two options to decide.

• If it shows that your machine is permanently activated, You're probably having a genuine windows copy and it is licensed forever.

• If it shows that Windows is not activated, I'm sure that You're having an inactivated Windows Version. So, Activate it as soon as possible.
